WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Adderall, the most popular medication to treat Attention Deficit Disorder, is in short supply like never before.
As a result, millions across the country are struggling to get the drugs they need to focus and treat their ADHD symptoms every day.
Back in October, the FDA formally announced a nationwide shortage.
Since then, pharmacist Stacy Thate says the situation has gotten even worse.
“Right now, if I pull it up on my screen, where I do all my ordering, you’re going to see zero, zero, zero, zero, zero, everything is all zeroes," said Thate, the Pharmacy Manager at West Palm Pharmacy. "So, I’m hoping that that will change.”
